The Himean Department of Defense (HDoD) is Hima's military-related branch of government. Their experiments are more secretive than the Department of Science and focus on controlling beings.

Some of their projects include:
CW-LISTEN, involving mind control and memory manipulation,
CW-SIT, involving "piloting" living beings on command without much effort or preperation,
CW-EAT, involving attempts to drain natural magic sources within creatures.
