The brothers ever... I love these guys so much you could never understand

When I was but a wee lad, I loved only Luigi. I thought Mario was evil and awful!!
However as I grew older and gained better reading comprehension, on top of playing more Mario games, I realized that was not the case...
I blame a certain theorist for making me think Mario was evil. And yeah, I hold a grudge about it (joking)
However, it was the early fandom at large that made me think that Luigi was a widdew baby who could do no wrong.
Looking back now I can see that the way many people saw (and, honestly, still see) Luigi is a clear case of infantilization.
He's a grown man with dick and balls... he's nearly 30....... he has masochistic tendencies.......... he's GAY................
A lot of the arguments for Mario being evil stems from Mario and Luigi acting like siblings (again, infantilization of Luigi)
And, also, seemingly that he tries to stay positive even when it seems like the world's ending?
"Mario isn't freaking out ergo he's emotionless" or whatever...
People are demonizing "uncute" autistic (and generally neurodivergent) traits again...

Anyways, all that to say that I see the light now. If you don't like Mario, play all of the Mario & Luigi RPGs and maybe you'll undertand.

Anyways, the Mario series in general pushes me to do things I will not do for any other series.
Everyone in my life knows me as "the Mario guy" and associates me with Luigi. My family will often buy food products just because they have Mario promotions with the brothers on the box.
One day I WILL obtain Super Mario Game Ehon #2 Mario to Luigi... one day.....
In reality, I'd like more than just the one, there are many picture books in the "Super Mario Ehon" series and as far as I've been able to find, there are only scant pictures online... but I really want Mario to Luigi in particular. It's totally normal wanting to import a children's hard-page book from the 90s from Japan, right? Surely not indicitive of any neurodivergences...

As a young boy, I was obsessed with Mario Party DS.
Because both I and my mother had DSes, and eventually we both got DSis, I would often play the multiplayer-only modes alone.
I always wished that Pen Pals had a 4 player mode, or at least let you choose whether to capture or run.
I still think they should have at least given you the option of which to do. Similarly, with the tutorial board, they should have let you play on it!! It looks so nice!!
My favourite minigame is probably Domino Effect, but Trace Cadets, Hot Shots, and Boogie Beam are also really high on my list. That's only out of the 4-player minigames, too. Also, I've never been good at Cherry-Go-Round despite my decade+ of playing the game, and it's the only game I absolutely cannot beat the Expert computer players in.
I think I could identify any sound or music in that game and tell you where it's used.
Fun fact: the contraction of Mario Party in Japanese is "Maripa". It's such a jovial-sounding term, I like it a lot...
